Regardless of which eprocurement system buyers use, using a PunchOut catalog allows you to market your products more effectively to the buyer. It also allows the buyer to find your products more easily, in a warm and inviting way.

An Ariba CIF catalog  (a.k.a. hosted catalog or line item catalog) limits your ability to market your product to your buyer,  because  the Catalog Interchange Format  (CIF) is a  standard protocol for a list format of products and services.
